Jonathan R. Briggs

Biography

Mr. Briggs has been in practice since 1998 and has been with Sheehy, Ware & Pappas since early 2002.

His practice with the firm has been concentrated in the toxic tort docket defending many clients sued under various theories of liability, including as premises owners, products manufacturers, products distributors and sellers and contractors.  Mr. Briggs also handles a variety of other matters on various dockets of the firm as needed.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Briggs had a civil practice primarily for defendants in personal injury trial litigation and other litigation matters including first chair trial experience at all levels of Texas trial courts, as well as experience on the toxic tort docket.

During his time in law school Mr. Briggs clerked for over a year at a firm handling various complex litigation matters for plaintiffs and spent a year and a half at a firm that handled civil cases, usually on behalf of defendants.
