Michael B. McTaggart

Biography

Mr. McTaggart joined Sheehy, Ware & Pappas in 2002.  He represents premises owners, product manufacturers and construction companies in toxic tort litigation.  In addition, Mr. McTaggart has successfully defended premises owners and product manufacturers in complex personal injury cases.

Mr. McTaggart has significant experience in employment law helping companies develop policy manuals and avoid litigation.  In addition, Mr. McTaggart has successfully represented clients in employment cases involving claims under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

Mr. McTaggart has successfully represented clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and before federal administrative agencies.

He has advised small companies and entrepreneurs in contract negotiations, entity formation, regulatory compliance and other matters affecting their businesses.

Mr. McTaggart has successfully tried commercial and personal injury cases to verdict.
